Beres Hammond is a renowned reggae artist who has been entertaining fans around the world for several decades. He was born in 1955 in Jamaica and grew up listening to music on the radio. As a young boy, he was passionate about music and would often sing in church choirs.

Hammond’s professional music career began in the 1970s when he joined the band Zap Pow as their lead singer. He later went solo, releasing his first album, “Soul Reggae,” in 1976. The album did not perform well commercially, but it helped establish Hammond as a talented musician with a unique sound.
